DS Icem Surf - Database Category:DS software Category:Simulation software Category:Multimedia software Category:Rendering software for WindowsQ: How can I make Bazaar 3.0 use the same bzr+ssh:// uri for commits to a local repository as in a hosted repository? I have an environment that includes a local repository and a hosted repository. The latter is a shared repository with an SSH server, and it's the only other repository in the network that is reachable to my machines. The.bzr/branch/lock/branch-format file in the local repository is not a suitable format for a shared repository, and I would like to use a shared repository with a different format. I've made a branch in the local repository to be compatible with the other repository. I've tried using bzr+ssh:// URIs and bzr+sftp URIs for a pull and a push, respectively, but both of them will only work if the host is the one hosting the shared repository, and the format of the shared repository is not the same as the one in the local repository. Is there a way to get bzr to use the same URI for commits to the local and the hosted repositories? A: If you create a checkout in the branch that you want to use as a remote for the local repository, the new checkout will automatically use that branch as its remote for the next commit. $ bzr branch -b foo sftp://foo/bzr/branch/foo foo-for-repo $ cd foo-for-repo $ bzr commit ...will work. Similarly, if you want to use the branch locally, you can create a checkout and push to it: $ bzr branch sftp://foo/bzr/branch/foo foo-for-local $ cd foo-for-local $ bzr push -v ... /home/matt/.bazaar/checkouts/foo-for-local adding foo/bzr/branch/foo adding foo/bzr/branch updating foo/bzr/branch/foo updating foo/bzr/
